Hampton Inn & Suites Hood River

Overall really great stay for a short visit. Exceptionally comfortable bed in the suite, plus central heating, television and a wet bar. Marvellous location relatively close to Port Marina Park. Lots of food options at walking distance from the venue.

I stayed in the room that was cleaned or new towels and available with a view.

Family with children ideal stay

We stayed in a Queen Studio Suite and loved every detail of it. The staff was very nice they checked in on us and made sure we were comfortable, comforting for a family like ours with young kids.

It wasn't the cheapest option but overall worth it.

Great stay for the fam!

Had a blast with the kids and our pup! They practically lived in the indoor pool till it closed. Breakfast was a lifesaver, super handy. The staff-shoutout to Jim, Tim, & Tasia-were awesome, super friendly. Only bummer was parking could get tight, but honestly, not a dealbreaker. The snack bar was a nice surprise too!

It was a commendable fit for a holiday in Hood River with definitely value for money. The breakfast setup had a good variety and was better than expected. For quieter stays, choose a room on the opposite side from the freeway.

This hotel really knows how to, with tasty night cookies and super-clean facilities that show they care. I loved unwinding in the hot tub and cozy pool after a day of exploring. The only downside was the older fruit at breakfast, which could use a refresh, but overall, I highly recommend checking this place out 😊

Sound insulation between rooms needs improvement!!! The items listed on the TV for streaming shouldn't require our firestick!!! Lack of comfortable outdoor seating limits relaxation options!!! Poor communication regarding unexpected charges left us feeling frustrated!!!

The river view from my room was amazing, and I loved that the room was spotlessly clean and well-decorated. Breakfast was a treat with an excellent variety and convenient seating options.

I did notice some road noise during the early mornings.

Solid location near the Columbia River, where you can watch windsurfers right from the room. The complimentary breakfast options were numerous and tasty, perfect for fueling up before a day of adventure.

The sound insulation in the rooms is lacking. I could easily hear conversations from adjacent rooms and the hum of the nearby freeway. The refrigerator emitted a constant noise, slightly disrupting sleep, and the bathroom lacked an exhaust fan, leading to a steamy environment post-shower. The TV placement was awkward. It faced away from the beds. I'd suggest some thoughtful tweaks to improve the stay overall.

Excellent hotel with great amenities like free parking, indoor pool, and a fitness center. I'll never forget how the staff helped me retrieve my forgotten jewelry. I'm coming back for a new year!
